Dear Sir:

I am a small business and cannot continue to finance the costly changes which I am being compelled to perform.

I am requesting that a Part I Modification in the amount of $ be issued for the changes, which would allow me to invoice a portion of my costs, until the changes are finally settled. Although this amount is much less than the actual extra costs which I am incurring, it would alleviate the financial disaster which the changes are currently causing me. I believe that your estimate for these changes would certainly be no less than this amount.

I would like a meeting with you as soon as possible to discuss this matter.
