Dear Sir:

Regarding Modification No. that you sent me to sign, I request that you reissue this Modification without the paragraph that says that I release the Government from all further liability for this change.

Although we have agreed on the direct costs (and time, if applicable) of the work, we did not address delay and impact costs associated with the changes, and I must reserve my right to present these costs, if any, when they can be determined.

I request a revised Modification as soon as possible, since I cannot sign the Modification as it is written.
